On Site VS Our Location?
Bacteria, mold, mildew, and fungus all like the same environment that is comfortable for humans. Damage is accelerated in dark, wet, environments with a food source. In this case the food source cellulosic material (the paper.) If you try to dry papers with the normal 72 degree F @ 50% relative humidity is just not going to work. In most cases we keep our room is placed at 115 degrees F and at 5-10% relative humidity. We add a little air movement. Paper is pretty hygroscopic and being such will release the water when it is placed it in a dry enough environment. 115 degree F is too hot for bacteria to grow. Depending on the items we can optionally apply a disinfectant, fungicide, virucide, sanitizer, mildewstat and deodorizer all in one to the papers using an ULV Fogger, sanitizer, and air mover during the drying cycle.

Once the paper are dry enough, they are fanned through the ultra fine mist of sanitizer generated by the ULV fogger that is blowing with the air mover wind tunnel.

$200 min charge.
We can provide pick up, packaging, inventorying, and delivery or on site drying if needed.
If you do not want the papers removed we can build a temporary room with this same drying service. I will add to added labor, materials, as well as service calls.

Procedure:
1. Make sure the water is turned off or no longer entering the building
2. Protect furniture (remove from area or lift with Skidders or Syrofoam blocks.
3. Prepray EPA certified Antimicrobial product on all wet areas (yes, re-flood the area)

4. Fast pass water removal and extraction (removes the bulk of standing water on floor)
5. Locate the perimeter of the water migration with moisture detection meters
6. Deep Extraction performed with sub surface extraction tool

7. Post apply Microban or other Water damage sanitizer
7. Set up drying environment to pull water out of foundation, walls, cabinets.
a. Set AC or heater to 68 degree F the blower motor to the ON position.
b. Turn on any ceiling fans on high.
c. Clean or replace AC Filter
d. Set Air movers in room
e. Set up dehumidifiers in house (it is best to operate on electric stove or oven outlet)
Uses electrical converters to mate stove or oven 220 plug with dehumidifiers.
8. Set up Hepa Filter (requirement to IICRC S500 Standard)
What to expect:
It takes about 24 hours for the carpet to feel dry
It takes about 48 hours for the carpet cushion under the carpet to dry
It takes about 72 hours for the sheet rock or gypsum board to dry
Hardwood, behind cabinets, and certain other construction materials require extended dry times.
Do not turn off any drying equipment until project is complete!
Additional inspection testing work is required before removal of drying equipment to ensure all areas are dry. Testing can be performed with moisture meters
Once the building materials are dry, Carpet cleaning and sanitizing service is recommended.
Final: place furniture back and remove blocks and skidders.
