DSL means Dual Splash crankcase, that both sides have an oil bath where the gears are located.
Single Shaft blower
Can be mounted in any position (just move the breather port to the top), can be spun in either direction.
NOTE: Default shaft orientation is LEFT HAND -- Unit can be mounted with top hand crank, bottom hand crank, left hand crank or right hand crank. Can be spun in either direction. Simply change the mounting feet and relocate the breather port to the top.
