This converter is perfect for the water damage technician. Designed to plug into your 12000+ watt surge generate that has the 14-60P Plug. Provides up to 8 outlets to use. 4 gang GFCI and 4 Twenty amp breakers. Designed to run under 60 amp total load (15 amps per outlet). Please note you must ground your generator to use this (see below)
Please note that it is super important to evenly pull power out of both sides of a generator. YES, all generators are two generators cut into two sides. Example a 12000 watt run generator is two separate 6000 watt generators. It is not ok to pull all the power out of one side. Most generators make it impossible to even pull power out of both sides because they do not have enough outlets. This converter solves this problem.
This converter has a total of eight 120 volt female ground fault receptacles! Each pair of receptacles are protected with a built in push button resetable 20 amp circuit breaker. This ultra compact design is you answer to installing the number of air movers and dehumidifiers in the home without the worry about tripping breakers in the rest of the home. Most restoration contractors use this device to run the dehumidifiers, and use the customer's regular wall outlets to run the air movers. (remember dehumidifier placement is not relevant to drying productivity as long as the blower motor on the AC/Heating system is turned to the 'On' position.) Just think, no more lost rental because the home does not have enough 'juice' to do the job right. This converter can also be used to operate other high amp drawing industrial equipment, like pressure washers and multi-corded carpet cleaning machines. Generator cable is 3 feet long . Weight 6 lbs.
