Original design was 3 wires for a single 2000 watt heater. New design is to wire the heater has two separate 1000 watt heaters. This means you will have 2 black wires, 2 white wires, and 2 green wires. If you want to run half the heater on one power cord and the other half on the other power cord you now can do this. If you want to operate both heaters on 1 power cord, join the 2 black wires together, join the 2 white wires together, and 2 green wires together while you mount to your machines wire harness.
