Why do I like the Mosmatic 78.292 and 78.242? What is the difference between the Mosmatic 78.292 and 78.242? To begin with both these part number are the same tool. If you order one, you could be ship the other. The 78.292 is a US number while the 78.242 is the model number used for other countries. If they are different prices, order the cheaper of the two model numbers.
I like this tool because it is easier to maneuver over all types of surfaces. The dome height is adjustable by simply adding additional washers or removing washers on the casters.
This tool works as well inside buildings and outside. Many other tools are only made to clean inside because when you use them outside the aggressive broom finish on the cement wears down the tool lip or brush. Not this surface cleaner!
This tool is cheaper to ship than other tools. Ships by the US Post office if you are located outside the USA for much less money that other tools because other brands exceed the shipping measurements by the US Post Office and require FedEx, UPS, and DHL shipping. These shipping companies charge by the cubic inch of the box's measurement in addition to the weight, distance, and value.
This tool is all polished stainless steel construction and is designed to last a life time.
The angle of the jets are only at an eleven degree angle. The more vertical angle transfers more cleaning energy into the impact of the water and not so much into the the spinning of the spray bar.
The impact spray to floor takes places closer to the vacuum pick up lip than some other models.
