The total elapsed time from when the valve opens until it closes is 2 to 5 seconds. Close temp 140 degrees F+-. Max psi 125. Max discharge rate: 2.5 gpm. Made in the USA! Extends the life of your pump and all internal parts! Internal O-ring seal - Viton External O-ring seal - Buna Stainless steel spring also sold as 458007, 8.723-943.0, 87239430 Why Nylon? Nylon can handle temperatures up to 470 degree before it starts to melt. That is almost a 3 to 1 service factor and works fine in this application
