This motor has been replaced with the Ametek M8253.
It is a drop in replacement for the M53.

Exact same H.P., can size, end bells, magnets and armature, see comparative photo to the right. Only difference is the fan on the outside of the Ametek and the fan on the M8253 is internal.
Used on EDIC new builds for many years.
Does include the bridge rectifier that converts AC current into DC Current. If you do not have a working rectifier to use with this motor and connect the leads directly to AC (house) current you will damage or destroy the motor. Warranty will not cover this type of damage. If you need to order a rectifier for this motor the following part number is also a live link to that procuct's page: C-REC-SMThis motor does not have the external fan like the m9253f, the fan is enclosed behind the motor end bell. Supplied to EDIC for their 500 PSI systems.
